Judith Thomas, President of Aries Management Corporation, received her Community Association Manager (CAM) license from the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in July 2006.

She was one of the first 500 Certified Community Association Managers (CMCA) Nationwide when she was awarded the designation from the National Board of Certification of Community Association Managers. (NBC-CAM) in 1996 and also earned her Association Management Specialist designation (1995) through the Community Association Institute .

In addition to demonstrating experience and knowledge related to community associations, CMCAs are bound by the Standards of Professional Conduct established by NBC-CAM to provide the highest quality management services to community associations and their residents.

NBC-CAM is a non-profit corporation founded in 1996 to oversee the development of the CMCA certification program. The Association Management Specialist, (AMS®) designation is a professional recognition of those managers who achieve and demonstrate competence, skill and knowledge in the planning, operating and management of condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations.

The Community Associations Institute (CAI) is a national, nonprofit association created in 1973 to educate and represent America’s community association industry.
It is a multi-disciplinary alliance leading the industry and fostering effective community associations. CAI Continuing education programs are required of both CMCA and AMS designees.
